Professional Mulch Blowing & Installation
Starting in spring 2027, Rick’s Yard Spraying will supply mulch and install it with a FINN MBM3 material blower, sending mulch through a hose directly into your landscape beds. It is an efficient alternative to wheelbarrows and rakes for homes, HOAs, apartment communities and commercial properties across South Metro Atlanta.
Mulch blowing is planned for spring 2027. We are not scheduling installations yet, but you can request a spring estimate now and we will follow up as the season approaches.
What Is Blown Mulch Installation?
With a mulch blowing service, mulch is loaded into a material blower and pushed through a hose. The operator directs the flow into each bed, placing an even layer around shrubs, trees and plantings instead of dumping piles and raking them out by hand.
Professional mulch installation this way means fewer wheelbarrow trips across your lawn, less material spilled on driveways and walkways, and the ability to reach beds away from where the equipment parks. How far the hose can reach depends on your property, so we confirm access during the estimate.
Rick’s mulch installations will use a FINN MBM3 material blower. Not every mulch type is compatible with blower equipment, so tell us the material you prefer and we will confirm it before quoting.
Large-Scale Mulch Blowing — Up to 50 Cubic Yards On-Site
Starting in spring 2027, Rick’s Yard Spraying will be equipped to handle everything from residential mulch installations to large commercial properties, HOA communities, apartment complexes and extensive landscaping projects.
By combining FINN MBM3 mulch-blowing equipment with our 57-cubic-yard Apex bulk delivery truck, we can support up to 50 cubic yards of mulch on-site before returning to the supplier for more material, depending on mulch weight and legal hauling limits. Bulk mulch installation this way means fewer supplier trips, fewer interruptions and a more efficient day on larger projects.
For projects over 50 cubic yards, additional deliveries can be arranged. We welcome projects requiring 100 cubic yards or more.
The amount per delivery is not guaranteed: it depends on material weight, legal hauling limits and site conditions. Mulch is staged on-site and fed into the blower in batches, so the 50-yard figure refers to staged material, not the blower’s capacity.
Residential to 100+ Cubic Yard Mulch Projects
Mulch blowing services for a single yard or a full community. Up to 50 cubic yards may be staged on-site per bulk delivery, depending on material weight, legal hauling limits and site conditions, with additional deliveries for larger jobs.
Residential homes and estates
Front-yard beds, foundation plantings, tree rings and backyard borders, installed without hauling mulch across the lawn one wheelbarrow at a time.
Landscaping contractors
Wholesale mulch supply and blown installation for landscaping companies that want to offer the service under their own customer relationship.
HOA communities
HOA mulch installation for entrance features, common areas and amenity grounds, planned as one coordinated project.
Apartment and condominium complexes
Building beds, courtyards and clubhouse grounds across a complex, with estimates based on total quantity and access.
Commercial properties
Commercial mulch blowing for office parks, shopping centers, churches and other grounds with long runs of landscape beds.
Property managers
One point of contact for mulch installation across the properties you manage, quoted site by site.
Large-scale landscape renovations
Wide or deep beds and extensive landscaping where hand-spreading takes the most time. The blower places material directly where it is needed.
Tree and shrub beds
Tree rings, shrub beds and plantings where the operator can direct mulch around trunks and stems rather than dumping and raking.

Mulch Blowing FAQ
When will mulch blowing be available?
Mulch blowing is planned for spring 2027. You can request a spring estimate now; we will review your property and follow up as the season approaches. We are not scheduling installations yet.
How much mulch can Rick’s Yard Spraying bring to a jobsite?
Our 57-cubic-yard bulk delivery truck can support up to 50 cubic yards of mulch on-site before another supplier trip, depending on material weight, legal hauling limits and site access. The mulch is staged on-site and fed into the blower in batches; the 50-yard figure refers to staged material, not the blower’s capacity.
Can you handle mulch installations larger than 50 cubic yards?
Yes. We accommodate projects requiring 100 cubic yards or more through additional bulk material deliveries.
Do you subcontract mulch blowing for landscaping companies?
Yes. We provide wholesale mulch supply, delivery and professional installation while landscaping contractors keep their customer relationships, retail pricing and profit margin.
Do you supply the mulch?
Yes. We offer complete mulch supply and installation services.
What is mulch blowing?
Mulch blowing is a way of installing mulch with a material blower. Mulch is fed into the machine and sent through a hose, and the operator directs it into your landscape beds. It replaces much of the wheelbarrow-and-rake work of hand installation.
How are mulch blowing estimates calculated?
Estimates are based on the cubic yards of mulch needed, property access, your material selection and travel distance. We do not publish set prices because those factors vary from property to property.
Do you pull weeds, prepare beds or remove old mulch?
No. The standard service installs mulch in existing landscape beds. It does not include pulling weeds, bed preparation, removing existing mulch or installing plants.
Can every type of mulch be blown?
No. Not every material works in blower equipment. Tell us which mulch you want and we will confirm whether it is suitable before quoting.
Can the hose reach beds behind my house?
Often, but not always. The hose can carry mulch to beds away from where the equipment parks, yet distance, gates, slopes and obstacles all affect access. We confirm access for your property during the estimate.
Do you install mulch for HOAs, apartment communities and commercial properties?
Yes. Mulch blowing is designed for both residential and commercial work, including HOA common areas, apartment communities and properties managed by property management companies.
