Junk pickup, bulk items & debris
Curbside Junk & Debris Pickup

Have a pile of junk or bulky debris you need gone?
Place approved material curbside or in another safe, accessible pickup area. Rick's arrives with the grapple truck, mechanically loads the pile and hauls it away.
Curbside / accessible-area pickup only
Standard service does not include entering homes or buildings, carrying furniture or household contents outside, moving material to the curb, or traditional hand-loaded junk removal.
Material must be staged where the grapple truck can safely reach it.
How it works
- 1
Pile it
Stage approved material outside in a safe, accessible location.
- 2
We grab it
Our grapple truck mechanically loads the pile.
- 3
We haul it
We haul the material away for proper disposal.

Staging the pile safely
- Get approval for the material before pickup day: send photos and a short description.
- Stage the pile on your property, in a safe spot the truck can reach.
- Do not place material in the street or roadway, and do not block a sidewalk.
- Keep the pile clear of vehicles, mailboxes, fences, low limbs and overhead lines.
- Leave hazardous items (paint, chemicals, fuel, batteries) out of the pile.
Access & property notice
Truck access must be safe and suitable for a large commercial vehicle.
The customer is responsible for identifying an appropriate staging/pickup area and disclosing known access limitations, such as soft ground, septic systems, irrigation, underground utilities, low clearances, gates or steep grades.
Rick's is not responsible for damage to driveways, pavement, curbs, sidewalks, underground utilities, septic systems, irrigation systems, landscaping or other surfaces/infrastructure that are not designed or suitable for the weight, dimensions or operation of the truck, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If we judge an access route or staging spot unsafe, we may ask for the material to be restaged before loading.
Pricing & heavy materials
How pricing works
Pricing depends on pile size, material type, weight, accessibility and disposal requirements.
Quotes are presented as an estimated/quoted total that includes anticipated disposal costs, rather than surprising you with a separate tipping fee afterward. We do not publish fixed junk-removal prices.
Heavy materials: separate evaluation
- Concrete
- Brick
- Dirt
- Rock
- Roofing
- Other dense construction material
Roofing is always reviewed separately. Dense material can reach the truck's legal payload before the 57-yard dump body is physically full, so not every job can use the entire nominal body volume.
Who uses curbside pickup
Homeowners
Moved the old furniture and garage clutter outside? One scheduled grab clears it. No trailer to borrow, no dump runs.
Contractors
Remodelers, painters and handymen can stage tear-out in one reachable spot and keep the crew on paid work.
HOAs & managers
Cleanup days and rental turnovers: residents or crews bring approved items to one designated, truck-safe staging area.
Different job? Different page.
The grapple truck is the same equipment. What you need decides which service fits.
