Large Rock Removal & Hauling in South Metro Atlanta

Old landscape rock, leftover rock piles, worn-out riprap and unwanted boulders can be loaded with appropriate equipment and hauled away. Rock removal is often the first step in a landscape renovation, drainage rebuild or property cleanup.

Accessible, loose rock can be loaded mechanically. Weight and legal payload set how much goes on each load.

How Rock Removal Quotes Work

We look at how much rock there is and how big the pieces are, how heavy the load will be, how the truck can reach it and where the rock needs to go. Rock is dense, so legal payload limits each load and bigger jobs may take more than one trip. We do not publish set prices.

Replacing what you remove? We also handle bulk rock and riprap delivery and decorative boulder delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you remove existing landscape rock?

Yes. Accessible landscape rock, rock piles, old riprap and above-ground boulders can be loaded with appropriate equipment and hauled away. Thinly spread stone in beds may need to be gathered into piles before it can be loaded mechanically, so tell us how the rock is laid out.

Do you dig out buried boulders or break up bedrock?

No. Standard rock removal does not include excavation, extracting buried boulders, breaking bedrock or demolition. It covers loading and hauling rock that is already loose and accessible.

Can you remove old riprap from a ditch or bank?

Loose riprap that can be reached from where the truck can safely set up can usually be loaded and hauled. Work in or next to streams can be regulated, so check any requirements with your local authority before removal.

Do you haul rock for contractors and commercial sites?

Yes. We haul rock for landscaping contractors, builders, HOAs and commercial property managers, as well as homeowners. Quotes are based on the amount and weight of rock, site access and where it needs to go.

What access do you need to load rock?

A firm route to the rock, enough room for the truck to set up next to it and clearance from power lines and tree limbs. Rock behind houses, across soft lawns or down steep slopes may not be reachable. Photos are optional but help us confirm access.
